I have been involved in the water polo community for about 11 years now and almost every single one of them has been spent playing, watching and coaching the Renegades. My formative years were played in net, where my team got 4th and Silver at U16 Nationals and two bronze at U18 Nationals. I also got the chance to play with the national team; going to (and winning) Youth Pan Am’s in Mexico and the Junior/Senior Training camp in Hawaii.

Then after starting university and quitting any national team water polo I put more and more of my time into coaching. I coached both the Seawolves and the Renegades. In 2009 I assistant coached the U16 Girls to the National Championship. The next year I was the Head Coach of the 94’ U16 Team and again the Renegades ended up National Champs.

In 2010 I finished University and went wondering around the world, ending up in Manchester where I played (not in net) with their city team in the British Water Polo League Div. 1. We won the league and then won British Championships. At the same time I coached their U14 team to a Gold Medal at their National Championships. I am back in Canada now and I am excited to keep watching, playing and coaching with the Renegades again.
